HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS 1. Nominate your region's most passionate gardener. Send us a letter to tell us why they'd be a worthy winner – and what makes them an unsung Kiwi horticultural hero. Don't forget to include your name, address and phone number (so we can contact you for more details if necessary) plus contact details for your nominated gardener. 2. Send your nominations to 2008 Gardener of the Year, NZ Gardener, PO Box 6341, Wellesley St, Auckland. You can also email it to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz. 3. Nominations close at 5pm on 30 June 2008. 4. The 15 regional winners will be announced in the September issue of NZ Gardener, on sale August 25. 5. Let the voting begin!
